Service Description

This is for up to 6 colleagues. CQC Registered Managers are legally responsible for ensuring compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) and the 2014 CQC Regulations including all staff employed at the registered service. How can this be achieved when the Registered Manager is not continuously at their service?   This course empowers staff who supervise frontline workers to ensure that they feel supported and good practice is not compromised and the service continues to operate effectively regardless of whether the Registered Manager is on site. Learning outcomes At the end of this course, learners will be able to understand: - Systems for identifying poor practice - The importance of undertaking people management supportively to improve practice and to reduce the risk of formal discipline - The fundamentals of bullying & harassment in the workplace and why this would not apply if you managed staff lawfully - Why it is important for staff who manage frontline workers to know how to manage staff effectively, particularly in the Registered Manager’s absence - The potential consequences of poor people management and failing to satisfy the obligations of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) and the 2014 CQC Regulations Who is the course for?
